“The Curse Of Oak Island” showed some progress in hunting down one of the biggest treasures in the world. However, due to Drake’s death, there are speculations that the show might be canceled.
Drake’s Untimely Death
When the news broke that Craig Tester’s son died, friends, family, and fans of “The Curse of Oak Island” mourned his untimely death. Drake’s death opened up new theories about the mystery that the Island has. Media members tried to get hold off any important information surrounding Drake’s death but his family just provided few details. This is the very reason why some of the fans think that Drake’s death is somewhat connected to the curse of the oak island.
The 200-Year-Old Treasure
Tester is still mourning and it will take time before he can fully recover. On the other hand, the Lagina brothers have already made another plan that will make them a step closer to the 200-year-old treasure. Learning from their previous attempts in digging up the gold, Lagina brothers teased the fans with a new method that has been used by gold hunters decades ago. Although they haven’t shown what their plan is, fans are already excited about it.
Is The Curse Real?
When Drake died last March 26, there were speculations that the producers might need to cancel the show due to the “curse”. There are no scientific explanation if the curse does exist or if it is even true. However, multiple reports from crew and witnesses state that the Nova Scotia shore is indeed haunted. There’s a video swirling on the internet before showing some weird apparitions and weird behavior in the cursed island. Regardless if this is true or not, this should serve as a warning to everybody who is attempting to dig the buried treasures, especially the Lagina brothers.
