Uncharted The Lost Legacy Release Date, Price And More

Uncharted's spin-off game entitled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy finally receives its release date. The game features Chloe Frazer and the mischievous Nadine Ross. The said game will be arriving on Aug. 22 for PlayStation 4, as confirmed by game developer Naughty Dog.

Dubbed by Naughty Dog as the "true Uncharted game", the stand-alone adventure title will cost for $39.99 in the U.S. and $49.99 in Canada. For those who are uninitiated, The Lost Legacy project was originally from the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as a single player story add-on. Meanwhile, players who owned the said downloadable content would receive the upcoming The Lost Legacy for free.

On the other hand, aside from announcing The Lost Legacy content at last year's Playstation Experience, Naughty Dog has revealed that it would stop selling Uncharted's Digital Deluxe Edition and Explorer's Pack on Dec. 13, 2016. In a sense, players who bought these contents earlier will receive a substantial discount on The Lost Legacy.

Though these players might receive the new content without additional cost, however, it is said that they will not receive any of the game's pre-order bonuses. With that being the case, there is still a good offer that players need to explore.

According to Polygon, pre-ordering The Lost Legacy will give grant them a free copy of the forthcoming PS4 port of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. The new port will be arriving on Aug. 22. Meanwhile, Sony announced that all four Jak and Daxter games titles will be coming to PlayStation 4 as PS2 Classics. On the other hand, PlayStation Store offers Lost Legacy PS4 theme if players pre-order the upcoming content to the said store.

Lastly, it appears that Naughty Dog made some changes to its announcement post saying that The Lost Legacy will launch in Europe on Aug. 23. Uncharted is currently available on PlayStation 3, 4, Vita, Android and iOS with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as its latest entry.
