‘Dragon Ball Super' Spoilers: Is Launch Finally Returning? Piccolo Gives Gohan Special Training

The latest episode of “Dragon Ball Super” has revealed that Goku and Gohan’s journey in scouting the fighters for Team Universe 7 is drawing to an end. In the updates for the upcoming episodes, it has been revealed that Piccolo will be coming up next. A new character will also be introduced that has made fans speculate the comeback of an old character.

Piccolo Joins Tournament Of Power

After the Zen-Oh Exhibition Match, Goku and Gohan have been going over fighters that can represent Universe 7 at the Tournament of Power. When Gohan suggested they take in Piccolo, Goku, Beerus, and the rest agree with him with no debate. Piccolo is an expert strategist who used to be Goku’s nemesis but because of his son, Gohan and Piccolo formed a friendship since they were young, they finally reconciled.

It has been revealed through official updates that “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 88 will feature a special training carried out by Piccolo for Gohan while they wait for the Tournament of Power to commence. Fans are excited to see more of what Piccolo can offer in the Tournament of Power as well as in the training with Gohan. Given how Gohan fared in his fight against Team Universe 9’s Lavender, Gohan clearly needs to level up if he wants to survive the upcoming tournament.

Is Launch Finally Coming Back?

It has been revealed that in “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 89, a new female character called Yurin will be making a debut appearance. This happens when Goku visits Master Roshi at the Tenshin-Style Dojo to ask him to join the Tournament of Power. Fans are happy that Tien Shinhan has opened up his own martial arts school but they are more psyched at the appearance of a new character who has been described to be beautiful. This may finally be the timely return of a character that was left out for so long because Akira Toriyama admittedly forgot about her.

Though it has been revealed that the new character is named Yurin, some fans suspect that this is actually an alias and that the real person behind the façade is Launch, a character who has been absent in the “Dragon Ball” series for a while. Launch also referred to as Lunch in the manga series, has dual personalities and is actually powerful human who can take on strong bodyguards by herself. The speculation that Yurin is actually Launch is backed up by Launch’s past wherein she has been romantically chasing Tien Shinhan for a long time and she could just be in a disguise at the dojo to get her hands on Tien Shinhan.
