This Game Is What Destiny, The Division Players Are Looking For

BioWare is arguably one of the best video game developers in the world. They are the one responsible for bring classic franchises such as Star Wars and Mass Effect, among others (with Mass Effect: Andromeda being the latest iteration). Now, the titular studio is reportedly working on a brand new IP. And what makes it so interesting? It's believed to be a combination of both Ubisoft's The Division and Bungie's Destiny.

According to VG247, the upcoming title from the video game company is yet to have an official name. However, the developer have codenamed it Dylan. It's said to represent EA's plans in competing with other MMO-light games, with Destiny and The Division being the epitomes.

This untitled IP has been under development for four years already. It was first introduced way back at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2014. During that time, unfortunately, there were no significant details shared. All were like a cheap shot to what the game will be about.

The forthcoming game from BioWare is said to make an official reveal come E3 2017. And, as what the reports suggest, it's going to be a massive revelation, contrary to what most fans are expecting. The details about the codenamed game Dylan were shared by a titular Podcaster by the name of Liam "Unseen64" Roberston (which can be checked here).

Roberston explains that Dylan is most likely to be "a sci-fi themed game," which can be likened to Destiny. The only catch, as what he points out, it shares some common elements from Ubisoft's The Division. Unfortunately, the Podcaster does not have anything else to share other than the possibility of the title being "a huge scale project."

Dylan is deemed as the biggest game BioWare has ever done in its existence as a video game developer. It's believed to be way bigger than the already popular Mass Effect franchise. Furthermore, this game is said to introduce a co-op feature. Other details as well as its release date, however, remain a mystery.
