The Moto Z2 is rumored to take the wraps off this year and the latest leak seems to show off what it will look like. According to a source, SlashLeaks recently posted the first image of what it claims to be the Moto Z2 Force. More so, as expected, this phone doesn't differ too much in terms of design from its predecessor, mainly due to the fact that it still has to work with Moto Mods.
The Moto Z remains an arguably impressive thin phone, and the overall familiarity of this design extends to the display. Slashleaks refers to this device as the Moto Z2 Force. Interestingly, the design on the back looks cleaner with less of an industrial design. Also, the camera bump is still very much present, as are the pins at the bottom, though that is already to be expected. The only two differences we can find are the inclusion of dual cameras and a more rounded physical home button. Judging by the leaked image, it might be possible this year Motorola will ditch the square home button, in favor of one that seems to look like Moto G5.
There are no specific details about the new Moto Z2 at this point, but thanks to a Geekbench listing which revealed an upcoming Motorola high-end flagship, it shows that the next-gen Moto Z might come powered by a Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM. Also, rumors suggest it will possibly come with Android 7.1.2 Nougat onboard. The Moto Z was first released way back in June 2016 and if Motorola continues on the same pattern, the Moto Z2 might be revealed in a few months.
As the leaks continue to spread all over the internet, the highly awaited, Moto Z2 is becoming all more appealing, especially given the stellar presentation last MWC 2017 of MotoMods set to release in this year. However, Moto fans mus wait for Motorola's official announcement.
