NFL Trade Rumors: Tony Romo May Still Play With The Dallas Cowboys? 49ers, Bears And Jets Antsy To Get Their Quarterbacks?

Don't be too sure now, because there are NFL trade rumors that say Tony Romo may come back and play for the Dallas Cowboys. Though there he will be completely sidelined and concentrated on broadcasting, recent developments seem to suggest the contrary. Meanwhile, as the 2017 NFL draft deadline looms, the Jets, the Bears, and the 49ers seem to be antsy about getting their new quarterbacks.

What Is Required For A Tony Romo Comeback?

Recent NFL trade rumors reveal that a former NFL head coach believes that Tony Romo, the former starting quarterback of the Cowboys, may still return to professional football. This former NFL head coach even said that a return to his former team is not really that impossible. Before he retired his uniform, there were NFL trade rumors that he will sign up with the Dallas Mavericks.

It seems the Mavericks were also hoping that these Tony Romo NFL trade rumors will happen. The starting quarterback even participated in the Mavericks' recent lay-up drills and shoot around. But Eric Mangini, former head coach of the New York Jets believes that Romo will become frustrated by the play coming from the quarterbacks that he will be covering as an analyst on CBS. He also said that if Dak Prescott gets injured, the Cowboys may need him and he may come back.

Three Top NFL Teams Are Growing Antsy

In a related note, with the 2017 NFL draft looming, there are NFL trade rumors going around saying that three top NFL teams are getting antsy to get their quarterbacks. The teams that are rumored to be in dire need for a long-term quarterback are the New York Jets, the Chicago Bears, and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Jets are in need of six quarterbacks, the Bears need three qbs and the 49ers require two qbs. NFL pundits are saying that these three teams are the most anxious about moving back into a market that has only a few teams that want to move up. With many top talents getting available, it would be interesting to see the direction of the early drafts.
