The latest news about "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 will delight fans who have been eagerly waiting for the showing of its first episode. The showrunners have just released the first photos of the upcoming season online. Some fans will be happy to see the images of their idols, while some might be disappointed since there are certain characters of the hit TV series who were not included.
A Total Of 15 Photos Were Released
According to the latest news, the first photos recently released online were a total of 15 crisp and clear images of the main characters in different settings in "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. Very significant among these images were those of Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) with the former sitting on the Iron Throne and the latter standing by her side. A very clear image of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) who appears to be waiting for somebody evokes some feelings of nostalgia.
She is also pictured together with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), Varys (Conleth Hill) and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel). An image of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) wearing his fur coat is also included in the first photos of "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. These pictures have impressed the fact that snow has really fallen in Westeros perhaps making life more difficult for the already embattled characters.
Some Characters Were Not Included
However, the latest news also says some notable characters were not included in the first photos of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Very noticeable among them are Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Yara (Gemma Whelan) Greyjoy. The last scenes of season 6 showed them traveling with Daenerys en route to Westeros. Have they jumped ship before hitting the docks in Dragonstones?
Also absent in the first photos of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is Jorah Mormont (Lain Glen). Another absentee is Melisandre (Carice van Houten). Jon Snow had her exiled from Winterfell in the show's previous season. If all goes well, the premiere episode of Season 7 will hit the airwaves on July 16.
