"Outlander" season 3 is still a couple of months until its official release on Starz but the network has already released photos and a video to tease the new installment. The arc which will follow Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager" will see Jamie and Claire separated by centuries but Fraser will not allow death to come to them without meeting each other again. An official trailer might soon come out as the filming of the episodes but its penultimate block has just begun shooting.
"Outlander" season 3's much-anticipated promo video was already released last weekend and it showed the painful separation of Jamie and Claire as the latter traveled back to her own time through the stones. Claire tries to rekindle the relationship she left behind and it becomes more challenging as she is carrying the daughter of another man. Jamie, on the other hand, was left at the Battle of Culloden and he will have to face the life of being a prisoner. However, the more difficult part is his attempt to live a normal life without his wife.
From the trailer, Jamie was seen swearing to find a way to go back to Claire and from previous spoilers, fans already have a hint that the two will be able to go back to each other's hands by the end of the installment. "I have lied, killed and broken trust, but when I stand before God, I will have one thing to weigh against all the rest," Jamie expresses in the trailer. "You gave me a rare woman. God, I loved her well," he adds.
Actress Caitriona Balfe also teased the reunion saying her character Claire and Sam Heughan's Jamie will have a steamy time together even if the characters will already be old and gray when they meet again. If things will work out between them this time around remains to be seen as "Outlander" season 3 tackles the lives of the odd couple.
The filming of the first couple of episodes in South Africa is already finished but the production will reportedly extend until June. "Outlander" season 3's executive producer, Matthew Roberts, brought to Instagram to update the fans that the penultimate block filming is already starting and fans are already wondering if the season will end with the blocks. "Outlander" season 3 is expected to be released on Starz in September and it will deliver 13 episodes.
