Gianna Martello Talks About Her Role On 'Dance Moms' Season 8; Abby Lee Miller Cries For Feeling Alone As She Undergoes New Operation

Fans of "Dance Moms" might be rejoicing over the latest teaser about the possible renewal of the show for an eighth season but its former host is in another battle right now. Abby Lee Miller broke down in tears on Friday before she went under the knife for a sleeve gastrectomy. The "Dance Moms" alum shared how nervous she was feeling but tears started to fall when she realized that nobody was there with her to support her on her surgery.

Abby Lee Miller is getting 80 percent of her stomach removed through an operation to help her on her weight loss. She went live on Instagram on Friday to update her fans about the operation and it can be observed that the former "Dance Moms" coach was alone in her room. Only a crew of a publication was with Abby Lee Miller in the hospital to get an update on her condition.

In her interview, Abby Lee Miller broke down in tears as she confessed how nervous she was to go under the knives again. She sobbed hard for feeling alone saying: "There's nobody freaking out if something happens to me." A full coverage of the interview is said to air on Monday.

The 50-year-old "Dance Moms" host for seven seasons left the Lifetime reality show last March. Many believed that the series will be over with her flee but Executive Producer Bryan Stinson recently teased what it looks like a confirmed season 8. Fans of the show though are confused as the Junior Elites along with Chloe Lukasiak were crying during the "Dance Moms" season 7B filming wrap up. Also, Kendall Vertes, who was rumored to quit before the installment finished shooting episodes, said in a live video that season 8 is not really happening.

There are many factors as to why the dance series might not release a new season. The host of the installment cannot yet decide if Lifetime is still keeping Abby Lee Miller as "Dance Moms'" main coach. However, Miller demanded in a previous interview for a big change before she returns to coach the dancers. It might be blurry though to keep her in her post as she is allegedly doing another dance series with another network and her final sentencing is already about to be finalized in May.

Gianna Martello who serves as the assistant coach in "Dance Moms" was also recently interviewed about the future of the show and her involvement in it. She said that she and Abby were not happy with the direction the show is going in and will demand changes before they finally decide to come back. She also said that while Abby Lee Miller has already left and returned in the past, this is the first time she sees the coach feeling really done with "Dance Moms."
