‘The X-Files' Revival Already Approved, Fans Not Excited About It

There are certain TV series that should not be touched for numerous reasons, one of them is “The X-Files”. This series was so iconic almost every country in the world had their own version. It was reported that a second revival will happen but fans are not happy about it.

‘The X-Files’ Revival

The fans are divided with the second revival of “The X-Files”. When it was announced that the producers were given the go signal, some fans posted negative things on the show. According to one post, the show doesn’t need to be revived time and time again since the original series had already made a statement. It seems that the fans weren't able to forget the first revival of the show which was rated 5 out of 10 by TV critics.

However, some of the avid fans are giving “The X-Files” a chance to redeem themselves. The show will again be spearheaded by the lovely cast of Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, and the charismatic Chris Carterwith. The producers vowed to provide a rich storytelling and guaranteed that the second revival will be a lot better than the one that flopped. “The X-Files” will feature 10 episodes but the release dates wasn’t revealed yet.

Mulder And Scully

Mulder and Scully will be the main topic of the new season. But there are already reports stating that “The X-Files” will go beyond the two characters mentioned to make the revival more exciting. Traditionally, each and every episode of “The X-Files” ends with a cliffhanger. During an interview with E! News, Carter stated that the last episode which was aired last February 2016 is just a continuation of what is going to happen on the revival.

New Characters

Also, there will be plenty of new characters that will be introduced since some of the original cast won’t be able to do it. Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose are two of the biggest addition to the cast. The crew also opted to add some new “voice” in order to help the show provide quality episodes.
