According to the latest report from a source, the LG X Power 2 is set to be sold by all three mobile service providers in South Korea, i.e. Korea Telecom Freetel (KTF) SKTelecom and LG Telecom (LGT). The device is expected to be offered for 300,000 won, which equivalents to approximately $264. Interested customers will also be able to get the device at a significant discount with a contract, as the report reveals.
LG X Power 2: Design, Specs, And Features
As far as the specs go, the LG X Power 2 is a mid-range device. The smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch 720p display and is powered by a Mediatek MT6750 processor. It only includes 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM, which seems to be quite low, compared to the memory offered by other manufacturers. Practically though, this is a smartphone made for people who value an excellent battery life more than anything, so this should be enough for them. As for the internal storage, the LG X-Power 2 offers 16GB and it also supports a microSD card of up to 256GB.
The second generation X Power sports a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing for selfies. As for the OS, it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and has WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity. The device takes its name from its 4,5000 mAh battery, which promises up to 2 or 3 days of run time. More details in lieu of the availability and pricing of the LG X Power 2 are expected to follow in the next coming weeks.
