Disney has just announced its line-up of up and coming films until 2021 and the list looks spectacular. Aside from the confirmed titles, Disney has also revealed the release dates for each new film.
“Frozen 2”, “The Lion King”, And More Slated For 2019 Release Dates
Disney has revealed that the sequel to the phenomenal animated film, “Frozen” is good to go. After a long wait, they have revealed that “Frozen 2” has been slated to premiere on Nov. 27, 2019.Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will direct the sequel, too. Aside from that, the “Frozen” musical adaptation will be making its grand debut on Broadway in the spring of 2018.
Another big news is the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the beloved animated classic film, “The Lion King”, which has been set to hit theaters on July 19, 2019. Joining the roster of upcoming movies for the next two years is the sequel “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2”, which is set to release on Nov. 21, 2018. The film adaptation of “A Wrinkle in Time” will make its premiere on March 9, 2018, and the comedy family film, “Magic Camp” starring Steve Martin is set for an April 2018 release.
More Disney Movies To Premiere Up To 2021
Disney clearly has prepared the years to come with timeless films as it reveals that more projects are in the works. They are reportedly working on a new and untitled “Indiana Jones” film and it is eyeing to make its premiere in July 2020. Another awaited film is “Gigantic”, a retelling of the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” and it has been set to air on Nov. 25, 2020, delaying it two years from its original release date. Two more untitled animated features are set to release on June 18, 2021, and Nov. 24, 2021, which will be created by Disney and Pixar, respectively.
