Apple Fans who have been waiting for a new jailbreak for iOS will be excited to know that there is a possibility that a jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 might come out next week. The new jailbreak is also said to be compatible with 64-bit iOS and that means the latest devices are supported.
Team Pangu Demos iOS 10.3.1 Jailbreak On Apple iPhone 7
According to a source, reports came in that the Chinese hacker group Team Pangu might possibly release a jailbreak tool for iOS 10.3.1 as early as next week. Interestingly, a member of the team was recently spotted demonstrating the jailbreak tool on an iPhone 7 device during a tech conference in Shanghai. The jailbreak is said to be compatible with all 64-bit devices, not only just the iPhone 7. It would also work with almost all the iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 out of the box as well as iPhone 6/6 Plus.
More so, the report said that there's no clear evidence yet that the jailbreak tool will be fully untethered which means that Apple fans won't need to re-jailbreak their device if they restart it. Pangu's last tool was semi-untethered and it required users to run the jailbreak app again to access their tweaks whenever they restart their device.
Release For The Public
Furthermore, the video demonstration about the vulnerabilities of the iOS 10.3.1 might just be part of the team's security research project. Until an official word or announcement from Team Pangu comes, it's hard to be certain at this point and should be taken with a grain of salt. Apple fans are hopeful that Pangu does come out with an iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak tool, though, the video clearly shows a successful jailbreak tool running on iOS 10.3.1
