OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone company that surprised the world with its aggressive “Never Settle” devices for the past years is at it again. After thousands of rumors and leaks about the launched of the most-awaited OnePlue 5 device this year, the company’s CEO posted a teaser image with a “big surprise” caption on the firm's Weibo account. Therefore, the production of the smartphone is confirmed.
OnePlus 5 Teaser Unveiled
According to BetaNews, OnePlus is one of the smartphone makers that let official information leak in months before a new mobile device is released. Therefore, it shouldn't have to be a surprise to see that the company or even the CEO is posting a teaser regarding the upcoming flagship on its Weibo account. Below is the image posted by CEO and co-founder Pete Lau:
As of now, it is too early to expect any juicy details from the company. Even the smartphone on the posted teaser image may not exactly mean that the flagship killer, which is said to be the OnePlus 5, is coming anytime soon. However, what is certain at this stage is that OnePlus is in the process of producing a smartphone that will make all the fans see "big surprise."
OnePus 5 Confirmed Production
If the teaser image is the OnePlus 5 smartphone, therefore it could be launched before the end of this year of early next year. There is still no official information regarding its specifications and features. The only thing that is confirmed as of now is its dual camera at the back of the smartphone device.
Both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T shipped with the latest available processor from Qualcomm at the time of their release, so it is quite likely that the OnePlus will do the same strategy with its OnePlus 5. Therefore, it might be shipped with a Snapdragon 835 chip. According to BGR, the upcoming flagship is expected to feature high-end specs wrapped in a very budget-friendly premium design just like its predecessors. Since “Never Settle” is the motto of OnePlus since the launched of its first handset, many fans are really anticipating for a complete competitive OnePlus 5.
