PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is the hottest Hunger Games-inspired title of 2017 and it's gaining momentum popularity-wise. It is engagingly fun especially if players are able to stay in a single game for a decent amount of time. Getting killed immediately can be quite frustrating since players are not allowed to jump back in to rejoin the fray but have to start a new one. The most exciting and nerve-wracking moments of the game are at the finale where players are less than a few. Here's a guide on how to get there.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Guide
In this game by creative director Brendan Greene, PlayerUnknown himself, players are pitted against 100 other players. Although the main goal is to survive and be the last man standing, the game avoids campers by restricting the "play area" as the time goes by and the number of players dwindles. The play area is within a "white circle" inside a much larger "blue circle." The outer blue circle will keep reducing in size and players must be inside it constantly or their health will slowly decrease outside of it.
That being said, it is recommended in PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds to not head into the white circle immediately. Of course, at the start of the game, if a player is lucky enough to drop in the middle of the white circle, the best strategy is to camp and wait for others to come. Otherwise, their best bet is to stay outside the outer perimeter of the white circle, this way they will be able to pick off others who head straight inside the white circle.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Tips And Tricks
Avoid confrontation early. This is one of the best foolproof strategies in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to make sure players will see the game through to the end. It is important to get away from other people as much as they can at the start of the game. This will allow players to have more time getting essential gear. Parachuting into an area with lots of buildings will ensure more and better loot but players will have a higher chance of encountering other players unless they are lucky enough that the other players steered clear of these larger clusters of buildings. However, most of the time, fewer players will settle for the low-density areas so it's the best bet.
Get armors, helmets, and backpacks too. They increase the character's defense and ultimately make players more powerful. It is also important to "Pick your battles," since the reward is given to the last man standing and not the person who got the most kills. If enemies are off the distance, shooting them will only alert them to the player's position in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. It's better to wait for a better shot or until they've run off. Stay put and let them go and focus on keeping stealthy by taking note of the trees and houses and avoiding open cornfields like the plague.
