The Huawei Honor 8 Pro has only recently unveiled, yet the next numbered entry in Huawei's spin-off range could be just months away. Already leaked images are circulating on the internet and revealed a render of the alleged Honor 9 in a black variant. The render comprises an alleged Honor 9 from a few angles.
A recent photo leak reveals that the company decided to remove the headphone jack. According to the reports, the Honor 9 will sport a dual rear camera setup, the same as the Honor 8. Another change should be the position of the fingerprint sensor. Leaked images show that the fingerprint sensor should now be embedded in the home button, which is the same move that the company did with the newly launched Huawei P10.
Honor 9 might come with 5.5 inches for a bigger canvas to view your apps, games, and videos with a shiny with a reflective glass back and likely a metal frame. Honor 9 will pack a USB Type-C port to act as charging and audio out port.
Besides the USB Type-C port, there are two grilles on both sides. One grille will pack the in-call microphone, while the other will embed the loudspeaker. Also, the upcoming device is believed to be powered by a HiSillicon Kirrin 850 SoC, water-resistant body, a 3000+ mAh battery and a slight camera improvement.
Moreover, the rendered images also tipped that Honor 9 will sport a dual rear camera set-up alongside with dual LED flash. The new images also appeared that the upcoming Huawei device placed the laser focus assist, IR blaster noise canceling microphone and the loudspeaker at the same position as Honor 8, hinting the upcoming device might be a pro edition of Honor 8 and could also be launched as Honor 8S. Furthermore, the possible release date is July 2017 and possible price is around $400.
