‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Latest News: Nintendo Switch Port Arriving This Fall In The US

The latest news about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will make its fans happy. After announcing the Switch release date of the video game in Japan last week, Bandai Namco recently revealed that it would also launch the Nintendo Switch port in the United States this fall. It appears that it will be a global release after all.

Switch Port To Provide A Better Gaming Experience?

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is already playable on most platforms such as Xbox One, PC, and PS4 with Switch as the only exception. Even if it is late in coming, it seems that the Switch version will have more attractive elements than the other versions. If this latest news is true, players using the Switch version might even have a better gaming experience.

Gamers who were able to play the Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 during its launch in January this year were able to observe some of its features. They say the Nintendo Switch port will support Ad-Hoc coop multiplayer for a maximum of six people. Additionally, this version will have a game mode that lets gamers recreate their own "Ultimate Techniques" Kamehameha attacks.

The Nintendo Switch Port Offers A Lot Of Supports

The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch port, according to this latest news, will also have support for two-player battles using the Joy-Con controllers as well as support for motion controls. One very attractive feature of this version is its ability to perform local multiplayer. By way of the Ad Hoc wireless support, gamers will be able to play the game on the go.

There Will Be An Additional Story Line

Another story line is also added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It is called Time Patrol. This storyline is a bonus to players who will buy their own copy of the video game during its launch date. Apparently, this storyline will add 70 playable characters to the video game.

However, the latest news also indicates that Bandai Namco has not released any information about the title's DLC content. Fans are hoping that it will be included during the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch port launch this fall. Perhaps the publisher will issue relevant information in this regard in the coming weeks.
