It has just been revealed that Zack Snyder has left the production of the “Justice League” film because of a family tragedy he has to attend to. Joss Whedon will be replacing him to work on the said movie.
Zack Snyder Steps Down From “Justice League” To Be With Family
It has been announced that Zack Snyder has decided to step down as director of the DC film adaptation, “Justice League”. He has revealed that he is leaving the production for an indefinite time because he needs to be with his family. The Snyders have been mourning the passing of their daughter, Autumn, who reportedly committed suicide on March 20. Further details regarding her death were kept away from the news.
Snyder explained that he and his family is having a hard time. Despite continuing to work with "Justice League", he realized that he needed to step back from the production and be with his family at this time. He expressed how the movie will be great and that fans would probably be worried at how the movie will turn out with him leaving suddenly, but his family needs him more.
Will The Movie Be Delayed?
Warner Bros. Pictures has already slated “Justice League” to release on Nov. 17 this year. However, with Snyder stepping down, fans are worried about how the film with turn out. The movie will most likely stick to its schedule with Joss Whedon filling in for Snyder.
Whedon was brought aboard by Warner Bros. to finish the reshoots and handle the post-production process of the film. It has been revealed that Whedon and Snyder have been working together on the film after Snyder’s daughter committed suicide so Whedon is most likely in the loop of how the movie is set to be done. Whedon is well-known for working on the popular series, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, “Angel”, “Firefly”, and even the ongoing Marvel series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
