The Gorgeous Red Sony Xperia XZ Premium Is Coming To Town

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium stole the limelight from its competitors as it nabbed the "best new smartphone" title on MWC 2017. With superb camera features, a 4K video playback, and a strong yet sleek design, the Xperia XZ Premium is certainly a great smartphone.

As it turns out, the company is not done yet, as a Red color variant of the smartphone makes rounds on the internet earlier today. The report claims that the smartphone in new red variant is for the Japanese market and that the company will likely launch it for the international market as well soon.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a powerful smartphone coming with top-end 5.5-inch and 4K display, powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Sony XZ Premium sports a 19-megapixel camera capable of detailed shots in low-light conditions and the option of watching 4K Ultra-HD video playback. This highly reflective handset is also dust and waterproof and wrapped with a Gorilla Glass 5 display that can survive being dropped without cracking. Sony claims that the Xperia XZ Premium is the first smartphone ever to offer super slow-mo video recording at a staggering 960 frames per second.

Last February, Sony announced the Xperia XZ Premium will hit the shelves in the US late spring. But, the device's launch was delayed a little bit. Fans now may expect to see the 4K smartphone land on the market around this June, however, the device wears NTT DoCoMo's logo, that means it will debut in Japan first and the red version of the Xperia XZ Premium will hit other countries as well. It is already available for pre-orders in select markets.
