Images Of BMW 8 Series Leak Online Ahead Of Official Reveal

Several weeks ago, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or more commonly known with its abbreviation as BMW released a teaser image of its future 8-series coupe. Sharing its branding with the 1990s high-tech luxury vehicle, the most anticipated BMW 8-series will be first unveiled in a concept-car form. However, today, that single teaser image has been backed up by a photo leak online seemingly depicting the entire concept of the car.

Popping up all over the internet, especially on automotive media sites and blogs, the leaked coupe concept looks very stunning in these official-looking images. The classy blue variant stands out and gains the most positive response from the people who saw the leaked image. The actual production of the car, sharing its platform with the BMW 5, as well as 7series, is to be launched in 2018.

According to AutoBlog, BMW aims for their 8-series to be more of a dream car rather than the 6-series that have now bowed out in two-door configuration. And talking at the time of the teaser concept image's release, BMW AG's Harald Krüger said that the upcoming BMW 8 Series Coupe will be formed via traditional luxurious sports coupes.

Krüger is the CEO of the German luxury vehicles company and he claimed that "a genuine dream car to our lineup" is coming to BMW. He is pertaining to the forthcoming 8-series coupe, which he said is "a slice of pure automotive fascination" vehicle. The BMW 8 Series Coupe will underpin the automaker's claim to leadership in the luxury division.

Six additional images of the most anticipated BMW 8 Series Concept have surfaced courtesy of another leaker, according to The Drive. As of now, BMW remains silent about the issue, especially on the leaked concept images. Only time can tell just how close the concept image is to the final production version.
