Ubisoft has recently confirmed at the ongoing E3 2017 that Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is coming. The game developer made the announcement during its press conference at the event. The reveal trailer was well received by the lucky viewers; it seems Nintendo has a winner in this title.
Mario Has Never Been Funnier
The well-timed and well-prepared presentation of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle made by Ubisoft did a lot to elicit the warm response of the viewers towards the upcoming title. Some attendees who have seen the trailer even said that they've never seen Mario this funny before. Ubisoft has been developing the game for the past three years and finally, it is now out of the can.
Gameplay Takes Place In The Mushroom Kingdom
Gameplay in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom. Apparently, through some quirky accident, the Rabbids were teleported to the Mushroom Kingdom. They have been trying to time travel with no success. But once in the Kingdom, things started to be chaotic. Thankfully, Mario comes up to help make things right.
Problems started to crop up when malicious Rabbids started to contaminate and spread across the Mushroom Kingdom. This is where the mustachioed Mario appears in order to stop the problem from getting worse. There is an exploration part of the Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle that is similar to the standard 3D Mario game. Players need to collect coins, solve basic environmental problems in their exploration.
There Will Be Two Gameplay Modes
There are two gameplay scenarios in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The first one is combat, which is the basic core of the game. This is where gamers can practice their tactical skills in defeating their opponents. For its second theme, players will be able to explore the open world of the game where they will be required to solve some puzzles as well as do some other things. Nintendo also confirmed that the game's release date for the Switch is Aug. 29.
