Samsung's next dream phone, the Galaxy Note 8, is exactly that - it's what dreams are made of. If the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus impressed, then people will be salivating over the Galaxy Note 8. That is if this recent leak proves true.
As BGR reported, the leak in question shows what the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will look like, or at least part of it. And from that little glimpse, one can assume that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with an amazing design that may even be better than the game-changing Galaxy S8. Considering that the leaked image only features the back of the Galaxy Note 8, that says a lot.
What can be gathered from the photo of the Galaxy Note 8's back is that Samsung listened to its consumers and relocated or maybe even got rid of the fingerprint sensor. With the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the fingerprint sensor was placed beside the camera. Using the scanner is awkward while those with short finger find it rather difficult to reach the scanner. Plus, users tend to get the lens smudged when reaching the sensor. That said, Samsung seems to have corrected its mistake with the Galaxy Note 8.
The leaked photo, courtesy of "CNMO.com" and first picked up by "Slashleaks", also shows that the Galaxy Note 8 will have dual rear cameras. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also rumored to be coming with an edge-to-edge 4K display.
Some rumors expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to launch sometime in August. According to Android Headlines, however, the Galaxy Note 8 will be introduced in Berlin at the Internationale Funkausstellung trade show or simply IFA 2017. The trade show will take place from September 1 to 6 and Samsung is expected to make an announcement at the event to continue a tradition.
