Google Pixel 2 vs iPhone 8 vs Galaxy Note 8: Specs Shootout

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is coming and this is undoubtedly a hugely significant device for Samsung after the issue of the exploding Galaxy Note 7. Rumors suggest, the Korean giant will soon announce the Galaxy Note 8 at a special "Unpacked" event and is said to be a bigger version of Galaxy S8. While this year will be the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, and everyone is anticipating that Apple will announce the next iPhone that has been widely dubbed the iPhone 8 and could be "revolutionary". It's being speculated that the upcoming Pixel smartphone would be a major overhaul of the current model, as Google is gearing out for the upcoming Pixel 2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The Galaxy Note 8 reports suggest that the device may come and feature a dual-camera system and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner placement. The latest report of Note 8 indicates that the phablet will sport a dual speaker setup and will come with an upgraded version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chip, in the form of the Snapdragon 836, and will be backed up with 6GB of RAM memory and with 64 and 128GB variants.The Galaxy Note 8 is said to come with fast and wireless charging, with an improved S Pen stylus. Reports claim that this year's Galaxy Note 8 will cost around $900.

Apple iPhone 8

The upcoming iPhone 8 is said to feature a larger 5.8-inch "edge-to-edge" display. The iPhone 8 will have the Touch ID sensor embedded into the screen. Reports suggest that there will be a "function area" at the bottom of the screen that acts like the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro. Another source claims that the iPhone 8 will offer only two capacities, the 64GB and 256GB and will be backed up 3GB of RAM. iPhone 8 is said to use Apple A11 processor built on a 10nm process to match the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. Reports claim it'll cost more than $1,000.

Google Pixel 2

The upcoming Pixel 2 is reported to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Google is said to add waterproofing capabilities to the Pixel 2 phones. The company reportedly had to ditch the water and dust-resistance capabilities from the last year's Pixel and Pixel XL because of time constraints. Set to use Qualcomm's most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 835, the upcoming Pixel 2 line is said to be backed up with 6GB RAM and 128GB/256GB.

Rumors indicate that upcoming Pixel 2 will sport 16MP dual cameras and an 8MP front snapper for selfies. Google is working closely on enhancing low-light photography. Additionally, It would boast some new features like the Pixel Launcher, Google Assistant, and Daydream VR. Reports claim that the Google Pixel 2 would come around at $699.
