Players who are waiting for the release of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 may have their chance to get their hands on the game before it hits the streets. There are reports saying that EA DICE is sending out the game's Alpha keys this week. That means gamers can try out the upcoming sci-fi shooter earlier than expected.
Some Gamers Have Received Alpha Keys
These reports have stated that a number of gamers have received emails that contain Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Alpha Keys for PC. In the recent past, EA has been saying that it is planning to conduct a multiplayer beta before launching the game. The game is scheduled to be released in November this year.
The rumor stemmed from several comments posted by gamers on a game forum site. Several comments were posted by people who claimed they have received invites to a Star Wars: Battlefront 2 alpha test for PC. It can be recalled that Mat Everett, EA community manager, has reportedly said in an official forum, that they will conduct an alpha test for the game. However, he clarified that the test may not be on all platforms.
EA Has Not Yet Confirmed The Alpha Test
However, Everett's statements on the forum were quickly deleted. Fortunately, somebody did a screenshot of his comments where it is shown that the EA manager has clearly listed the platforms which included "PS4, PC or X1." To date, he has not confirmed the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 alpha test.
Therefore, if it's true that EA is sending out the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Alpha Keys, gamers may expect an Alpha test in the near future. However, fans shouldn't hold their breaths since the game developer has not yet issued any confirmation about this alpha code. EA DICE has not issued any announcement in this regard as well.
