Motorola has now finally decided to make the incredibly oft-leaked Moto X4 official. The company has released two video Promo videos.
Motorola is keen to reveal its latest smartphones in video form, and as such it has already uploaded two promotional creations to its YouTube channel. The first one describes that the Moto X4's tagline is "Hello Perfection" - you'll be the judge of how well that works for a mid-ranger, as reported by GSM Arena.
Unveiled at IFA 2017, the Moto X4 grabs attention with its looks. It's available in Super Black and Sterling Blue, and of the two color options, the lighter blue one catches the light better.
Moto X4 is a massive fingerprint magnet, and there's no way to prevent smudges on the back or front, both of which are made of Corning Gorilla Glass. This phone is clearly set apart from the Z series by its lack of support for Moto Mods. One of the highlights of the Moto X4 is that it will ship with Alexa functionality - it's not the first phone to offer the feature, but it's still a relative rarity, as noted by NDTV.
Other notable features of Moto X4 includes some contextual information added to the camera software, which offers information about landmarks and scans business cards, similar to what Samsung's been doing with Bixby. There is also a dual-rear-facing camera set up here that let users add a bokeh effect, similar to what the latest Moto Z offers up.
The rest of the Moto X4's specs and features include a 5.2-inch full-HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 SoC, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. All demo units had a single Nano-SIM slot and a microSD card slot. The battery capacity in the smartphone is of 3000mAh and fast charging is also supported. For the connectivity, there's also Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, NFC, GPS and a fingerprint sensor, but no FM radio.
