Samsung is having a tough time with leaks lately. We've already seen the Galaxy S4 mini, S4 Active, and S4 Zoom all leak before Samsung's June 20 event in London. It was believed that all three leaked smartphones were all of the Galaxy smartphones Samsung had intended on announcing that day, but now it appears Samsung also planned to announce the Galaxy Ace 3. And, just like the other smartphones, a press image and specs of the Ace 3 have leaked.
Samsung might have to think about getting a little more secretive about its upcoming products in the same way that Apple is notorious for. Samsung has planned an event in London on June 20 and the invites indicated new Galaxy and ATIV devices would be announced. It even included some images on the invite - similar to how Apple teases with its invites.
Unfortunately for Samsung, whatever Galaxy devices it had planned for the event have all been leaked in full before the company had the chance to announce the smartphones. Samsung was able to keep the Galaxy Ace 3 a secret so long, and it could have surprised those attending the event. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen anymore. A press image and official specs of the low-end smartphone have hit the Web.
SAMMOBILE has leaked the press image and official specs of the Galaxy Ace 3. Per report, the smartphone will feature a 4-inch 480 x 800 TFT display, run Android 4.2.2, TouchWiz Nature UX, be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, have 4GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, VGA front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, HSDPA and HSUPA radios, a microSD expansion slot with support for up to 32GB microSD cards, and a removable 1500 mAh battery. Its dimensions are 21.2×62.7×9.79mm and will be offered with a single SIM slot and a dual SIM slot. The Galaxy Ace 3 will be offered in three color choices - Metallic Black, Wine Red, and Pure White. The smartphone is expected to go on sale in July.
If these leaks continue, Samsung is not going to have much to unveil at its event, at least in terms of Galaxy devices. The good news is that none of its ATIV planned devices have leaked, yet....
