Samsung Galaxy S4 with more color options heading to Verizon and Sprint

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is selling like hot cakes and now customers on Verizon and Sprint can get more color options coming their way.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S3 in only two color optiosns: Pebble Blue and Marble White. However, as the popularity of the handset increased, the company launched more color variants of the handset. Similarly, Samsung initially launched the Galaxy S4 in only two color variants - White Mist and the Black Frost - and recently, the company has announced five new colors for the smartphone: Blue Artic, Purple Mirage, Red Aurora, Autumn Brown and Pink Twilight.

However, all the color variants are not available with all carriers in the U.S. AT&T is the only carrier which offers a third color option i.e. the Red Aurora to customers. Well known leakster @evleaks has tweeted that the Brown Autumn variant of the handset is heading to Verizon and the Purple Mirage to Sprint. You can also find the images of both the new colors on @evleak's twitter page.

Previously, reports also suggested that Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo is offering the Blue Artic version of the handset. However, the blue variant of the handset is still not officially available in the U.S.

Many smartphone users may find themselves restricted with only two color variants. The Galaxy S4's closest Android rival is the HTC One, which was initially launched in only two colors and then also introduced in Glamour Red for select markets. Similarly, the iPhone 5 is only available in two colors: black and white.

There is no doubt that currently the Galaxy S4 is dominating the Android smartphone space and is amongst the most popular smartphones around. The launch of more colors for the handset may attract even more customers as it will give them ample choice to pick a hue that suits their personality.

Neither Verizon nor Sprint have officially announced their plans to launch new colors for the Samsung Galaxy S4. We can only hope that the carrier confirms the handsets as soon as possible.

If you are looking for a new Samsung Galaxy S4, which color will you pick?
