Between two superior laptops, does one edge out the other?
With an Intel 12th Gen processor, more memory and storage, twice as many speakers, and a better webcam design, Dell XPS 13 Plus can easily be the best laptop on the market. But it doesn't come without competition.
And who can be the best competitor other than HP Spectre x360 13? With nearly identical specs and prices, Spectre x360 13 is the perfect rival to XPS 13 Plus.
With so many similarities between the two, it's difficult to choose between the Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre x360 13.
Which Has the Better Specs and Design?

Both laptops have comparably gorgeous 13-inch displays, but Dell wins again in the connectivity category thanks to the latest-and-greatest Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, according to Windows Central.
Spectre x360 13's diamond-cut corners are unique and attractive, but the XPS 13 Plus' wide keyboard, large keycaps, and giant haptic trackpad will, without a second thought, lead to an outstanding typing experience.
XPS 13 Plus features two more speakers and a dual webcam layout that separates RGB from IR, which allows a cleaner and sharper image compared to the 2-in-1 webcam found on the Spectre x360 13.
In terms of flexibility, the Spectre x360 13's convertible nature edged out XPS 13 Plus since being able to transform your laptop into a tablet is useful for mobile use.
Dell XPS 13 Plus only comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, in comparison to Spectre x360 13's USB-A port as well as dual Thunderbolt 4. Spectre x360 13 will be helpful to people who have a lot of peripheral accessories.

"We feel that the winner in this matchup is clear. Between its more powerful CPU options, faster RAM, higher maximums for RAM and storage, and its superior audio and webcam layout, the Dell XPS 13 Plus simply outclasses HP's 13-inch Ultrabook in almost every way," Windows Central reported.
But Digital Trends has a different take, because when it comes to specs, performance, and price, the XPS 13 Plus and Spectre x360 13 are basically the same.
"If function is your only concern, there's virtually no difference between two identical configurations," per Digital Trends' review.
The Spectre x360 13 has plenty of small benefits, such as its extended battery lifespan and its incredible OLED display option. But, the XPS 13 is superior in other aspects, such as a larger screen and a more expansive set-up of hardware and software, according to Digital Trends.
Digital Trends thinks the laptops are equal. The better decision falls on the users' preferences of screen, typing, and design.
