Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade releases on Steam this June. Square Enix also unveiled its much-awaited sequel, known as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, during its 25th Anniversary Celebration.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake first saw the light of day in April 2020 on PS4 consoles, according to a recent report by The Verge. It was then followed by a version that was optimized for the PS5.
The Remake arrived on PC last December 2021, thanks to its release on Epic Games Store.

But this time, Final Fantasy VII Remake is making it to more PC players as it arrives on Steam this June, as per a news story by Game Spot.
The gaming outlet notes that the Remake only had a short stint of becoming a PlayStation exclusive. Six months since it arrived on PS4 consoles, it debuted to PC players via the Epic Games Store before last year ended.
Roughly another six months have passed, and Remake is expanding its reach to gamers on PC, thanks to its release on Steam. Not to mention that it is also coming to Steam Deck.
Game Spot notes that the Remake is a Steam Deck Verified title, much to the delight of gamers on the handheld PC.
As of writing, Steam has yet to provide the pricing of Final Fantasy 7, but its page is already live. Its listing clearly says that its release date is on June 17.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Minimum PC Specs
Apart from its release date, Steam also gave away the minimum specs that PC players should have to play the Final Fantasy title.
Remake requires at least Windows 10 64-bit version 2004 or later with either an Intel Core i5-3330 or AMD FX-8350 and an 8GB of RAM.
The following graphics specs are required to run the game: AMD Radeon RX 480, Nvidia GeForce GTX 780, and 3GB VRAM.
And its players should have a generous amount of internal storage of at least 100GB.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Square Enix also took the chance to announce that the sequel of the Remake is coming out next year.
The Verge reports that the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is releasing "next winter," and it is going to be a PS5 exclusive at launch.
The creative director of Rebirth, no less than Tetsuya Nomura, said that the sequel could be enjoyed by players even if they are not familiar with the first one.
Nomura even said that "new players might even enjoy starting their Final Fantasy VII journey with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth."
