Watch out Xenoblade fans!
Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct is coming later this week. And the announcement is a great news for Xenoblade fans as it is dedicated entirely to Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
In a tweet, Nintendo revealed an impending new Nintendo Direct presentation. It is scheduled for later this week on June 22. The Nintendo Direct is kicking off at 07:00 PT/10:00 ET/15:00 BST.
"Tune in on 6/22 at 7am PT for a livestreamed #XenobladeChronicles3 Direct presentation featuring roughly 20 minutes of information about the upcoming RPG adventure for #NintendoSwitch," Nintendo of America tweeted.
It appears that the presentation will be focused entirely on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and it will last for approximately 20 minutes. You can watch the presentation on Nintendo's official Twitch and YouTube channels.
'Xenoblade Chronicles 3' to Arrive This July
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was originally slated to arrive in September. However, to fans delight, it is now launching in July.
The game follows a group of warriors. They are "caught between two opposing kingdoms: the militant Keves and the magic-based Agnus," according to CNET. The worlds of the first Xenoblade Chronicles (2010) and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (2017) will be brought together in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
A similar battle system with the previous games will be featured in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, wherein players can run around the battlefield in real time.
Players will be able to select from a palette of "Arts" to attack foes. But in this new game, "characters can also temporarily fuse into a powerful, mech-like creature known as an Ouroboros during battle," according to CNET.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is set to arrive on July 29. A special edition of the game that includes an art book and steelbook case will also be released by Nintendo. However, the special edition is not yet available for preorder. You may have to wait for the base game launches to get your hands on it.

The World of 'Xenoblade Chronicles'
Monolith Soft developed Xenoblade Chronicles 3, an upcoming action role-playing game. It was published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.
The game is a part of the open-world Xenoblade Chronicles series. It will depict the worlds featured in Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Like the first two games, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has a a large open world to explore. But unlike previous Xenoblade series entries, which active party members is limited to three, the new game will allow for up to seven party members to participate in battles at once. This will include the main party of six and one of several different characters that appear over the course of the story.
The ability to change their character class will also be granted to party members. With this, they will also be granted with access to different abilities. Specific pairs of party members such as Noah and Mio, Lanz and Sena, and Eunie and Taion, can use the new "Interlink system" under certain conditions. With this, they can combine into an Ouroboros.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is set after the events of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The game takes place in the world of Aionios. It a world where the mechanically proficient nation of Keves and the ether-oriented nation of Agnus are at war with one another.
