Ford electric vehicle (EV) sales in the United States (US) swells to impressive numbers last June 2022.
It increased roughly 77 percent, at least compared to the sales performance of the automaker last year, which is somewhat at rock bottom.
So, the renowned American car marker appears to be back on its feet with increasing overall sales and a massive uptick in its EV figures.
Ford EV Sales in the US
It looks like more people are getting their hands on the all-electric offerings of Ford as its increase in merely a year is at an impressive 77 percent rate.
If we are going to be less vague about it, the total EV sales of the Blue Oval accounts for a total of 4,353 units, according to a recent report by Teslarati,
To be more precise, the F-150 Lightning, the all-electric pickup of Ford, sold more than 1,837 units last month. While the Mustang Mach-E sales book up to 1,957 units.
Aside from these two, Ford has another all-electric vehicle, the E-Transit, which Inside EVs estimate to be at around 559 units sold.
Ford F-150 Lightning
It is worth noting that the all-new F-150 Lightning broke its sales record this June since it started shipments last April.
Ford says in its statement that the "sales of the all-new F-150 Lightning continue to ramp up." In fact, the renowned automaker also boasts that most of the reservations of its all-electric pickup came from car owners of other brands.
The automaker also revealed that the total sales of the Ford electric truck are already more than 2,296 units, and a huge chunk of that came from June.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
On the other hand, the sales figures of the Mustang Mach-E slumped by 21 percent from its performance in May.
Nevertheless, the Ford EV still booked a 75 percent increase from its sales in the previous year.
Ford has sold nearly 45,000 Mustang Mach-E units in total, at least in the US.
Ford US Sales
As per a news story Inside EVs. the overall sales figures of Ford are also going up.
The total sales of both Ford and Lincoln in the US skyrocketed by around 31.5 percent compared to its figures at the same time last year.
The Blue Oval sold around 145,000 vehicles in the US, while Lincoln saw 6,894 sales this time. And in total, the renowned automaker sold more than 152,262 cars for the previous month.
