Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Adds New Team Deathmatch Mode in Latest Update

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt now has one of its most demanded game modes.

The popular vampire battle royale game now has its very own team deathmatch mode, which will be available to play later in July 2022, per the game's official website.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt was previously released on April 27, 2022, and has accumulated six million players since then.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Team Deathmatch Mode Details

Sharkmob mentioned in its announcement that Bloodhunt's team deathmatch involves two eight-man teams going against each other with unlimited spawns.

However, there is a score limit, and in the new game mode, the first to reach this score limit wins.

Additionally, it will feature five unique areas in Prague to function as the new mode's battlegrounds. These areas are named: Slaughterhouse, Disco, Hotel, Construction, and Harbor.

However, Sharkmob added that Bloodhunt's team deathmatch mode is still in beta, meaning that players will encounter more than a few odd bugs here and there and probably some crashes.

Despite the new mode being in beta, the developers are still excited to make it available to players to give them "a thrilling new experience with more playtime per person than ever before in the battlegrounds of Prague."

Bloodhunt producer David Sirland hopes that the game's team deathmatch mode will help ease new and casual players into the game by presenting a chance to figure out how everything works without the risk of "near-immediate death" endemic to battle royale games, per PC Gamer.

Simply, put, Sharkmob is giving new and casual players to get a feel of the game that isn't a tutorial mode before they go into the game's original mode - battle royale.

Bloodhunt's team deathmatch mode will soon be available on July 14, along with the rest of the game's big summer update.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Big Summer Update Content

Aside from Bloodhunt's team deathmatch mode, Sharkmob is also bringing a new special Summer Pass Offer that has more than a hundred new items for 600 tokens, which costs around $5.99, per Game Press.

The game's big summer update also comes with new map locations, such as the Ventrue train in the Train Station location.

Additionally, the Ventrue area, which was previously locked in Elysium, is now open. Players can now meet Em, the Ventrue primogen, and get quests from her.

Finally, the update will add the knife and crowbar as new melee weapons, along with bug fixes for minor and major issues.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Content Update Switch

Sharkmob announced that it would no longer release content through seasons traditionally advertised in similar battle royale games.

Instead, it will focus on giving players small, but quick to make updates regularly, as doing so by season is not working for its relatively small team.

Sirland said that Sharkmob somewhat knows how many people have the game installed but aren't playing. As such, he believes that the update-focused content release would convince these players to return to the game and be active players once more.
