It's without a doubt one of the unique phones we've seen in a while.
An Earphone Inside a Phone
HMD Global's (the company which owns the Nokia brand) had an interesting design with the new Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, a phone reimagined for today.
This feature phone has a slide-down panel on the rear that can be opened to reveal a convenient pair of truly wireless headphones. According to Digitaltrends, the earbuds are kept charged when inserted into the phone, just like in every other case for true wireless headphones.
With the phone's substantial battery life and the true wireless headphones' up to four hours of music playback or 2.4 hours of call time per charge, The Verge noted that it doesn't seem like charging the accessories will be a major hassle. However, Digitaltrends pointed out that users should not expect features like active noise cancellation because they aren't high-end earbuds.
In the mid-to-late 2000s, Nokia used the XpressMusic brand on music-focused phones that often had dedicated physical controls for music players on the body. Well, the 5710 XpressAudio takes the music-focused philosophy and combines it with an enticingly modern feature.
Just to be clear, the 5710 XpressAudio is a feature phone and not a smartphone. Meanwhile, there is no mention of support for modern music streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music, as per The Verge.
This Phone Offers More Than Being A Earphone Case
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio has a 2.4-inch screen and a conventional T9 keypad, giving it the appearance of a standard candy bar-style feature phone from the front. However, a charging compartment is located around the rear and is accessible by sliding a plastic cover.
With two 4G SIM cards installed, HMD claims the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio's replaceable 1,450mAh battery provides up to six hours of talk time over 4G and up to 20 days of standby, according to Digitaltrends and The Verge.
Furthermore, along with its Unisoc T107 processor, it also sports a 4G modem and runs Nokia's S30+ OS. On the rear is a VGA camera, and on the body is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
When Is the Release of Nokia 5710 XpressAudio

HMD Global Will Release Other Phones Aside From Nokia 5710 XpressAudio
The Verge reported that the company also revealed the Nokia 8210 4G feature phone (based on the iconic Nokia 8210 introduced in 1999) and the Nokia 2660 Flip.
The Nokia 2660 Flip will cost £64.99 (€69) and come with an optional charging cradle for an additional £20 (€20), while the 8210 4G will retail for £64.99 (€59). Both phones will be available in late July.
