Nintendo and PlatinumGames recently confirmed the much-anticipated release of Bayonetta 3 after years of leaving its fans aimlessly patiently waiting for its official debut.

As per a news story by The Verge, Nintendo surprisingly revealed out of nowhere that the long-awaited Bayonetta 3 is launching this year.
The renowned gaming giant formally revealed that Bayonetta is making her much-awaited comeback before Halloween, or on October 28, to be more precise.
The release of Bayonetta 3 has been a couple of years in the making, leaving some fans of the game wondering if it is still seeing the light of day anytime soon.
And as such, the director of the game, no less than Hideki Kamiya, has to constantly tell fans of the franchise that is still in the works.
Not to mention that he had been assuring them that Bayonetta 3 has not been canceled, contrary to the pessimistic speculations of some folks.
In fact, The Verge reports that after four long years of waiting, fans of Bayonetta saw its first official trailer in September 2021.
Now, its publisher has confirmed that it will launch on the Nintendo Switch this October 2022, marking the highly anticipated return of Bayonetta.

Nintendo reveals that the Bayonetta 3 is coming out with a physical version, according to a recent report by Nintendo Life. But, of course, it is still debuting with a digital version, which fans could get their hands on either from the Nintendo website or straight from the Switch eShop.

Now that it is a few months from its upcoming release, its file size on the Nintendo Switch seemingly got revealed ahead of any formal announcement.
As per the latest story by Game Rant, the early listing of the upcoming Bayonetta game on the official website of Nintendo and the Switch eShop gave us a glimpse of its file size.
Once the Bayonetta 3 releases, it should take roughly 15 GB of storage from the Nintendo Switch.
Game Rant highlights that its file size is around the same range as most first-party games on the Nintendo handheld console, such as the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
