I have good news if you've ever fancied yourself as a LEGO minifigure. You can now order and customize a LEGO minifigure through the Minifigure Factory on the LEGO website. Even though it's in beta, it can still bring a lot of fun!

The Verge noted that the Minifigure Factory resembles Lego's online Build A Minifigure tool, which is only accessible in a few countries. However, Build A Minifigure doesn't provide the same level of torso customization as Minifigure Factory.

Customization of the Minifigure

You may make a character come to life by following five different processes by partaking in the LEGO Minifigure Factory experience, as per 9to5Toys.

There are a lot of possibilities, from choosing a face and hairstyle to the torso print and even an accessory. You may choose from some amusing extras in this online minifigure maker as well, such as a laptop, a pretzel, and a pizza.

You may further customize your figure by choosing from a variety of additional options on top to merely choosing from the LEGO-made shirt styles. You may add, resize, and position different glyphs and symbols anywhere on the torso to create a unique look. You can then add whatever text you like to take the customization to the next level.

Limitations of the Beta

The new LEGO Minifigure Factory online experience is currently in beta testing and does have some restrictions.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of choice in terms of available face prints, hair colors, or styles. The company also warns that, while it modifies the user experience, the online site may occasionally go down, as per 9to5Toys.

The LEGO Group is currently restricting it to just one minifigure per household.

Pricing

The cost of each customized LEGO Minifigure Factory figure is $11.99.

You Can Also 3D Print Your Face Onto Action Figure Toys

With the Hasbro Selfie Series, the company will soon begin 3D printing consumers' faces onto action figure toys. In collaboration with FormLabs, Hasbro will digitally scan your face, utilize a 3D printer to bring it to life, and then add it to the action figure of your choice, according to ReviewGeek.

X-Wing pilot, Ghostbuster, Power Ranger, Snake Eyes from GI Joe, and other Marvel and Star Wars selections are the only characters available at the launch. ReviewGeek noted that we can't expect characters, such as Batman, as those are likely to be impossible due to IP conflicts or agreements.

You must first download Hasbro Pulse, the company's mobile app, choose the kind of 3D-printable face you want to create, and then register to receive notifications when the figures go on sale.

So how much will it cost to become a plastic action figure of yourself?

It will cost $59.99 and include a six-inch "collector-grade" figurine with your adorable face prominently displayed.

Sadly, the project isn't finished yet, and Hasbro intends to release it later this year.
