Samsung Galaxy Note 3 confirmed to come in three colors

Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 3 on September 4 at its Unpacked event. A new report claims the phablet will launch initially in a choice of black and white, with pink soon after.

The Internet has been buzzing with details of the Galaxy Note 3's rumored specs and also leaked images claiming to show the 5.7-inch smartphone. After months of speculation, we'll know exactly what Samsung has up its sleeves when it announces its highly anticipated Galaxy Note 3. It's been pretty much confirmed that the handset will launch with either an octa-core or quad-core processor depending on the region. A new report claims that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 3 in three colors: black, white, and pink.

SamMobile is reporting that its sources said Samsung will begin shipping the Galaxy Note 3 between September 2 and September 8. The phablet will initially be offered in the now standard choice of black and white. The source claims that beginning in late October Samsung will make a pink version of the Galaxy Note 3 available for purchase. The site notes that it can't confirm where the pink version will ship and if it will be exclusive to a region. Samsung released a pink Galaxy S4, but the smartphone was only available for purchase in Taiwan.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Note 3 in two models, just like it did with the Galaxy S4. The main difference between the two will come in the form of either a Samsung Exynos octa-core processor or a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Recent reports also claim the Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 5.7-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD Super AMOLED display and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX. It will include 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and use Samsung's newly-announced 3GB RAM modules. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to use the same 13-megapixel rear camera found in the Galaxy S4 and include a 2-megapixel front facing camera. Samsung is also expected to include enhanced S-Pen features and applications.

Samsung will also announce its Galaxy Gear smartwatch at the same event on September 4.
