Two new characters could join MultiVersus' character roster in the immediate future.
MultiVersus players have been recently sharing pictures of ads for Warner Bros. Interactive's game featuring Black Adam and Stripe the Gremlin on social media, per IGN.
Black Adam and Stripe are not yet included in the game and may have been planned for release sometime in the near future.
Black Adam and Stripe The Gremlin Ad Details
MultiVersus player and Twitter user @ShadyMVS posted a tweet featuring a photo of an ad for the game showing Black Adam and Stripe the Gremlin flanked by the game's other characters.
Another Twitter user going by the username Iron Wolf also posted a picture that may have been from Warner Bros. Interactive itself. Iron Wolf's tweet features the same picture @ShadyMVS posted, but it is more of a low-resolution picture instead of a picture of a monitor.
According to @ShadyMVS and Iron Wolf, the ad featured in the photo is a leak of the game, meaning that the two characters could be featured in the game sometime in the future.
Neither character has been confirmed by MultiVersus developers, but having them go center stage in an ad is a good indication they are coming to the game.
Unfortunately, nothing else about the two characters was revealed by both Twitter users aside from their similar pictures. Even more unfortunate is that it isn't clear when Black Adam and Stripe will be available for the game.

You may remember that Warner Bros. Interactive previously delayed the game's first season and release indefinitely probably due to its 15-tier battle pass being "mediocre." However, this delay also meant that Morty's debut in the chaotic crossover brawler video game also suffered the same fate.
With the game's official release on August 15, Morty is confirmed to be in the game come Aug. 23, per Polygon. This announcement makes Black Adam and Stripe available sometime after Morty's release.
This prediction is supported by the release date of the "Black Adam" movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the titular character, which is on Oct. 21, per Rock Paper Shotgun.

Gremlins are an unwanted evolutionary side effect of when a Mogwai, a fluffy creature of unknown origin, feeds after midnight.
