Ubisoft just announced that its long-running guitar learning platform, the Rocksmith+ subscription service has a release date. It is set to arrive to PC next week, September 6.
According to EuroGamer, Rocksmith+ was originally set to launch last summer. However, players' feedback during its closed beta made Ubisoft decide to postpone its release date.
Ubisoft said that it wanted to "ensure we provide the best guitar learning experience and deliver a smoother experience for all guitar and bass lovers".
Players Can Enjoy 5,000 Songs from Rocksmith+
The guitar learning platform was delayed for nearly a year, and now that Ubisoft is going to release it, it will be available only on PC exclusively through the Ubisoft Store, as per Engadget.
Rocksmith+ promises a range of tools that players can utilize to hone their music skills. One of the tools is the interactive lessons that features Adaptive Difficulty. According to Ubisoft, this "dynamically adjust to a player's skill level while they play."
Rocksmith+ Connect app for iOS and Android that allows note detection and real-time feedback are also available, and this does not require any peripherals.
Upon launch, players can access 5,000 songs from partners including Sony Music and Universal. Tunes from Alicia Keys, The Clash and Santana were among the 5,000 songs that can be found in the guitar learning platform.
According to Ubisoft, Rocksmith+ will have the "largest catalog of official songs ever offered in a music learning service."
The company also said that its library will cover a variety of genres such as rock, metal, pop, Latin, hip-hop and indie.
Moreover, Ubisoft claimed that they will adding "millions" of more songs in the future, as per Endgadget.

Closed Beta Participants Can Enjoy the Loyalty Pricing
Those who previously played a Rocksmith+ 2014, and those who participated in the closed beta will have a chance to enjoy the loyalty pricing, according to EuroGamer.
This means that they will be given one month free if they subscribe for three months. Meanwhile, Ubisoft will give an additional three months free for those who will prepay for a year of service.
You can avail one month of service for $15, three months for $40 and 12 months for $100.
To use Rocksmith+, it will be necessary for you to connect your electric, acoustic or bass guitar to your computer.
You may also be opted to download the Rocksmith+ Connect app on an iOS or Android device. The built-in microphone in your phone will be able to recognize you playing.
To connect your instrument, another option is to use Ubisoft's Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. With this option, you'll be able to add effects to your playing.
According to Ubisoft, a third-party audio interface is also possible option. However, the company did not promise to give technical support for this.
During the announcement, Ubisoft did not mention that the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Rocksmith+ will be available soon. The company, however, mentioned the mobile release is set to launch this fall.
