SpaceX's Starlink earns thanks from Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister, citing the satellite constellation system's steadfast connection in the country, even after a missile attack.
The Vice Prime Minister expresses his gratitude for Elon Musk and his project Starlink, revealing the critical role the global internet provider plays in the war, Teslarati reports.
Nothing But Praises For Starlink
Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov praised Starlink for the role it played in restoring the connection in critical areas of the country.
The latest tweets from Fedorov stated that the quick restoration of connection is necessary infrastructure to advance with their mission.
Tech Times writes that Musk is all in support of the country, which is why the company made sure that Ukraine is given access to the internet and technology after it was ambushed by missiles.
Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister claims that the latest cruise missile attack from its enemy Russia left grave damages, but the internet connection remained stable thanks to SpaceX's Starlink.
According to Tech Times, Starlink helped deliver communications across Ukraine and is still committed to providing stable internet service for the public.
In the past few days, Ukrainian soldiers and officials have also reported outages in internet connectivity, but Starlink has since restored communication lines, according to Financial Times.
Furthermore, Musk's company's excellent service allowed developments in areas like Kherson and Kyiv immediately after the loss of internet access was reported.

Musk's Support Is Not Cheap At All
While the satellite systems proved crucial to Ukraine's footing in the war, it came with a cost to providing the country with technology.
Financial Times writes that thousands of Starlink systems have been deployed in Ukraine, and this was possible through donations from governments and crowdfunding individuals.
Recently, Musk revealed that SpaceX had spent $80 million so far to roll out units in Ukraine, which offers voice and internet services on the battlefield, Business Insider says.
Not only does this distribution helps Ukraine in the war, but it also gives Musk and SpaceX an opportunity to test satellite services before they sell to other countries, which will cost more than $100 million.
With this amount, CNN Politics reports that SpaceX has warned the Pentagon that the Starlink funding services may stop if the US military does not provide millions of dollars monthly.
Because of this, SpaceX requests that the Pentagon take over the funding for the project in Ukraine, citing its incapability to provide the terms and services requested by the Ukrainian army.
"You could say he's trying to get money from the government or just trying to say 'I don't want to be part of this anymore,'" an anonymous source tells CNN correspondents.
According to CNN Politics, the government and military use of Starlink would cost more than $120 million for the rest of the year and somewhere close to $400 million in the next one.
In connection, SpaceX's suggestion to look for another source of funding for the project comes with the rising concern over Musk's allegiance to the war.
