T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 pre-orders will start on Sept. 18

T-Mobile will start taking pre-orders for the recently-launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Sept. 18 onwards.

Samsung launched the hotly-anticipated Galaxy Note 3 on Sept. 4 and the handset will be available in the U.S. via all major carriers. Now customers will be eagerly waiting for carriers to release their versions of the phablet so that they can get their hands of the latest Galaxy Note as soon as possible.

"The Galaxy Note 3 will be available to pre-order on September 18 for $199.99 down with 24 equal monthly device payments of $21 (plus taxes and fees) with T-Mobile's Simple Choice Plan. Pre-ordered smartphones are expected to start shipping on or before October 2. The Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear companion smartwatch (sold separately) will launch nationwide at participating T-Mobile retail stores, select dealers, national retail stores and online at www.T-Mobile.com on October 2," announced T-Mobile.

The total price of the Galaxy Note 3 from T-Mobile will work out to be $703 over 24 months.

AT&T has also begun taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 on a two-year contract and for $749.99 outright. The carrier will also start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch from Sept. 17. Verizon is also taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 and is offering the smartphone for $299.99 on a two-year contract. The outright price is $699.99.

The Galaxy Note 3 packs in top-end features and will be one of the most powerful phablets around. If previous iterations are any indications, the new phablet will sell like hot cakes and fly off the shelves in no time.

The great hype surrounding the Galaxy Note 3 lies in the success of its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 2, which was launched around this time last year. However, the Galaxy Note 2 didn't face such high competition, as there were not many other phablets available in the market.

The Galaxy Note 3 may face stiff competition in the market as customers will also find other phablets from various smartphone makers. Sony has already launched the Xperia Z Ultra and LG has also unveiled the G2 phablet. Moreover, other phablets such as the HTC One Max and the Windows Phone 8 (WP8)-powered Nokia Lumia 1520 are also in the pipeline and may hit the shelves very soon.
