Having a movie night can surely bring the family together, and watching movies with your children can be one of the most memorable experiences they can have in life.
From superhero movies to live-action adaptations, 2023 is a great year for those who are looking to watch movies that can best be enjoyed with the whole family.
With that, here are five of the movies you can look forward to and stream with your children next year:
1. 'Elemental'
Good Housekeeping describes "Elemental" as a tale about a world where the characters are each of the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air.
This movie will feature a fiery young woman and a go-with-the-flow guy who discovers they have something in common as they live and cohabit in a colorful city.
Directed by Peter Sohn, "Elemental" will premiere in theaters in June 2023, and it will be available to stream on Disney Plus around the same time.
2. 'The Little Mermaid'
Featuring the first Black woman to play the character of Ariel, Disney's live-action adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" will be out on Netflix after its theatrical debut worldwide in May 2023.
According to Good Housekeeping, this remake of the Disney classic is directed by Rob Marshall, who has also been tasked to oversee the likes of "Into The Woods" and "Mary Poppins Returns."
Starring Halle Bailey, this movie will revolve around the usual story of Ariel's journey to self-discovery only with a new face of representation for the new generation.
3. 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem'
In a tweet from February 2022, Paramount Plus announced that they will usher in a new era of Turtlemania with a new installation from Seth Rogen's popular work.
The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie will be available to stream on Paramount Plus next year, and will still follow a storyline driven by the TMNT film series.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" is described by Romper as a movie lurking beneath the surface, ready to come out on August 4.

"Nimona" will star Chloe Grace Moretz, and it will also be streaming on Netflix sometime next year.
5. ' High In The Clouds'
Netflix and Gaumont are partnering to release a new animated feature based on the popular children's adventure novel written by Paul McCartney.

The movie will be released on Netflix to bring it to a more global audience in 2023, as a passion project for the Academy Award-winning McCartney.
