Apple to Release New MacBook Pro Models with M2 Chips this 2023

Apple will be launching new MacBook Pro models this 2023. There's a 14-inch and 16-inch like the current models, but it will feature an M2 Pro or M2 Max chip. The new models were set to release this year but have faced delays, according to reports.

What To Expect?

So far, there are no changes announced aside from the chips being upgraded to M2 and maybe even faster RAM. It's likely that the new models will also have the changes that the MacBook Pro released in 2021 has, which are the return of the HDMI port, MagSafe, and an SD card reader.

Even if the new models are set to launch in 2023, a new iMac with an M3 chip might be released in the same year, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, although he did not share any more details except that Apple might skip the M2 chip for iMac altogether.

As mentioned in MacRumors, Apple is testing its new Mac mini models, which will have M2 and M2 Pro chips. However, no exact or approximate release dates were mentioned.
