Activision might not be doing so well with its latest release, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Reports say that players are losing interest more than they had anticipated. The developers may need to work on the game a bit more to avoid driving players away more.
What's so Bad About It?
Fans claim that the game doesn't have the same amount of features as the one before it, and some wish that they just made improvements for the first Call of Duty: Warzone game. Regardless, Activision will have to do something to keep players interested.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 can be a huge source of revenue for its developers, according to ComicBook, which is why it's likely that they will be working on the game more. Although, it will take a lot of effort and resources to do so.
There are a lot of FPS games that Warzone 2.0 will have to surpass and to do that, they will have to convince players that the game is worth their time. The gaming community knows that it's hard to bounce back once you get a bad rap.
That being said, Activision might have a hard time recovering players that had a bad experience with the game. Based on Steam ratings, the has received an overwhelmingly negative rating, with Overall Reviews and Recent Reviews marked as "Mostly Negative."
