His death comes just a week before the latest installment of the "John Wick" franchise, "John Wick: Chapter Four" is due to hit theaters.

'John Wick' Star Lance Reddick at 60
The 'John Wick' Star was found dead in his home in Studio City, Los Angeles, according to a report by Variety, which cites a report by TMZ. An NBC News report quotes Reddick's publicist, Mia Hansen, as having said that the 60-year-old actor "passed away suddenly" from "natural causes."
Hansen's statement also says that Reddick will be missed greatly and requests privacy for his family. He leaves behind his wife, Stephanie, and two children, Yvonne and Christopher.

Reddick's friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry and other celebrities have taken to their social media accounts to remember the actor and offer their condolences to his family and loved ones. Ben Stiller called Reddick a "beautiful and compelling actor" in a tweet.

Author Stephen King calls Reddick a "wonderful man" and "wonderful" actor in his own tweet, describing the news of his death as "sad."

Who is Lance Reddick?
On the small screen, Lance Reddick is best known for his roles as Baltimore police lieutenant Cedric Daniels on the HBO crime drama series "The Wire," Homeland Security special agent Phillip Broyles in "Fringe," and Chief Irvin Irving on "Bosch." On the big screen, he will arguably be best remembered for his role as Charon the concierge in the "John Wick" franchise.
Other TV roles under his belt include multiple small roles in "Law & Order," a recurring role in "Oz," and the role of Albert Wesker in Netflix's "Resident Evil." As for film roles, he also appeared in movies such as "Godzilla vs. Kong" and "Angel Has Fallen."
