Service disruptions have been reported by Apple users from all over the globe. There is no official statement yet from Apple to confirm the issues, but the said disruptions have continued to affect services like the Weather app, iCloud and iMessage.
Apple Not Yet Recognizing Recent Service Outages; Cause of Disruption Not Known
As reported by 9to5Mac, complaints have flooded social media sites as many users experience difficulties in accessing iCloud, iMessage, Shortcuts, the Weather app and the App Store. Users' experiences vary, from slowdowns to total service outages.
Before the recent Apple service disruptions, the Weather app already had a confirmed outage earlier this week. The app became unavailable for hours, although the issue was already resolved by Apple. However, the Weather app appears to be having a second round of disruption as many users are once again complaining about the app. Some users claimed that it's been taking them too long to load the updated weather info on their devices.
After the Weather app, users have already begun complaining about slowdowns in other Apple services such as iCloud and iMessage. At this point, Apple's official System Status website has not yet confirmed a service outage, although DownDetector has shown reports of downed services, particularly for iMessage.
The cause of the Apple service disruptions has not yet been confirmed. Without Apple recognizing that the service outage exists, users can only make speculations on their own. Still, as Gizmochina reported, there is a clear issue with Apple's servers which has caused the slowdowns and outages. The first to be affected by the issue is the Weather app and now is the second time that the service was down in a week. The issue has spread to other Apple services, making users unable to synch their files, create messages, and share their photos.

Apple Confirms Issue With the Weather App, Issues Fix
As mentioned, Apple confirmed the issue with the Weather app earlier this week, caused by a "server-side problem" as reported by the Apple System Status webpage. It was also confirmed that the Weather app was "slow or unavailable for some users." The service outage affected users from different countries.
The issue was only evident on some Apple devices, but the Weather app was functioning properly on MacBooks and Apple Watches. According to GSMArena, the weather data was restored on the app by manually adding a location using the search bar of the Weather app. However, this only lasted for a few minutes. The outage lasted for several hours before Apple reported that the service has already been restored.
Unfortunately, many users have been experiencing the same issue once again. Furthermore, it appears that a small number of users have continued to experience an outage even though Apple said that the Weather app is back and running. With another round of issues affecting more Apple services other than the Weather app, users hope that Apple will be able to fix the source of all these problems once and for all.
