With smart devices being able to stream endless content and be used for playing games, children nowadays tend to be glued to screens. It's much harder to get them to play outside and touch grass. As a compromise, you can purchase outdoor tech toys so they would be encouraged to head out and try them.
1. Electric Water Gun
It doesn't have to be summer to play with water guns. In fact, they can be a nice way to play around with other kinds and even with adults in the family. Unlike the standard water guns, electric ones allow you to eject water automatically with a range of 26 to 45 feet.
That means you won't have to constantly pull the trigger, which can be tiring. The product is non-toxic and durable, which is perfect for kids. The battery is rechargeable which means you won't have to buy batteries every time it runs out.
2. Camera Drone
It's always exciting to navigate a device remotely, especially one that has its own eyes. A drone with a camera lets your kids see the surroundings with a bird's eye view. The Foldable FPV Drone can be connected to a smartphone so they can see the live feed from a screen.
It is equipped with a high-definition camera with a 120° wide-angle setting. The drone can last for up to 40 minutes when it's fully charged and comes with its own app. The device weighs less than 250g, so it doesn't need to be registered or require a drone pilot certificate.
3. Electric Go Kart
This is a good way to get them out only if you live in a safe neighborhood where there aren't many cars around. The suburbs are the best place to ride them, especially since the roads are wide and not as used as city roads.
The Segway Electric Go Kart has a top speed of 23mph, so it would be a good idea to get them protective gear. It's sturdy enough to endure a couple of bumps since it's made out of high-strength steel frames. The cart can be used by kids aged 14 years old and above.

4. Electric Scooter
If you prefer a much safer option for getting them excited to hang out outdoors, you can get them an electric scooter. It can go as fast as 30mph, but they'll have more control over it compared to the Go Kart. It's also much smaller which lessens the chances of collision.
It has a dual braking system along with front and rear torsion bar suspension. It only weighs 38.6 lbs and has a one-click folding system, so it's easier to store. Adults can even use it to travel short distances.
5. Automatic Baseball Launcher
Nothing gets them out and about like sports, and an automatic toss machine for baseball might just do the trick. It eliminates the need to have a partner when playing catch or baseball, as well as picking up the ball with every hit.
The machine settings can be adjusted so the toss height can range between 1.2m to 1.7m. It comes with a spiral ball chute so you can put in multiple baseballs and not have to refill it constantly. It tosses every six seconds so your kids will have a consistent flow with the machine.
