Apex Legends banned its top player on PC, Facilitatur after allegedly wall-hacking the leaderboards. Players who have been banned are automatically removed from the Predator leaderboard and will be demoted to Master.
Facilitatur's Ban History
This is actually not the first time Facilitatur has been banned from the game. Previously, the player has been banned from Apex multiple times on Xbox and PC. He was allegedly teaming up with cheating players to win through the games.
Regardless of the previous banning incidents and caught in camera suspicious gameplays, Facilitatur was able to bounce back and become the top 1 player of Apex Legends.
"Me and ProdigyAces have both had a rank 1 taken from us by a cheater and it is especially painful to see it happen to people like luxford, james, shooby, zach," Apex player HisWattson tweeted.
Facilitatur was last banned in mid-2022 which received a public outcry due to Respawn's "protection" on cheaters. Respawn clarified then that Facilitatur was found to be playing with cheaters but not the cheater himself.
Apex Legends Cheating Issue
While cheating in Apex Legends is not entirely new, Respawn remained firm that they are not afraid to put give penalty even to the highest ranking players. Most of the players, especially those who have played against Facilitatur are relieved that the cheater has been penalized.
There are no news as to how long Facilitatur's ban will last. For now, Apex players can play with ease on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
