The new Sabotage Studio game, Sea of Stars, is making waves in the gaming community after its hot launch on August 29 on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
What is Sea of Stars All About?
Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG which follows the story of the two Children of the Solstice. Their goal is to combine the powers of the sun and moon in order to perform Eclipse Magic. The duo is set on an adventure to fight monsters and the game antagonist, The Fleshmancer.
Sabotage Studio promised that the game will be full of engaging turn-based combat bundled with time hits, multi-character combo attacks, boosts, and strategic lock system. In addition, the developers also made a breakthrough by allowing characters to swim, climb, jump off ledges and more instead of the classic bound-to-the-grid movement that is usual for 2D pixel art games.
Sea of Stars also features dozens of original characters with various story arcs that will keep the players immersed on the journey. It could be funny and emotional as the game tries to portray themes such as adventure and friendship.
Sea of Stars Release
Sea of Stars will be joining other massive hit triple A RPGs like Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3 upon its release on Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5. The game is set in the same universe as Sabotage Studio's The Messenger, however the developer assured that Sea of Stars are not required to learn the previous game beforehand.
After years of development, fans will now be able to purchase and play the game across gaming platforms. Currently, the game has been receiving good reviews from players upon its release.
