Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V is officially 10 years old and Rockstar Games is thanking its fans by releasing new outfits, weapons, and more.
10 Years With GTA V
GTA V was initially launched in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and was soon followed by GTA Online. In commemoration of the event, Rockstar released new outfits, GTA V-themed weapons, extra modes, a stock car, collectibles, and other bonuses for completing missions.
Over the years, Rockstar has also produced other GTA titles such as the GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition. Moreover, the game developer company also managed to improve the following versions upon its release to the next generations of Xbox and PlayStation.
GTA V has proven itself to be a remarkable installment in the GTA series. The game has reportedly sold 185 million copies with $8 billion in revenue.
Long Wait for GTA VI Continues
With a decade of journey with GTA V, Rockstar is yet to unveil any plans with GTA VI. For years, fans have been longing for a new installment hoping that Rockstar will level up the gameplay.
Reports showed that there are numerous factors as to why Rockstar is taking time to release a new GTA. For instance, GTA's expansion would take a long time to do and can result in people working extra hours in order to complete the game. In addition, the company's production was also affected by the pandemic.
For now, Rockstar has only confirmed that they are already working on the project. However, nothing is certain about when the game will be released.
