X entered a partnership with socialite Paris Hilton and her digital ad agency 11:11 Media as the platform pushes its agenda to promote its video and shopping features.
Shopping and Video Features for X
X CEO Linda Yaccarino has been pitching the company's vision on shopping and video among brands and investors. For the past months, the CEO was able to discuss with Creative Arts Agency, United Talent Agency, and Walt Disney Co., as per Financial Times. Yaccarino also conversed with Hilton last July.
Bloomberg reported that Hilton and her company will work on creating original video content about fashion, beauty, travel, and more. Moreover, she will also promote X's launch of new products and services. Both X and 11:11 Media will share the profit from their project.
X is yet to disclose its full plan of action for its upcoming features, the company has always been vocal on its vision to make X an "everything app" where users can upload audio and video, do shopping, make payments, find a job, and more.
X Aims to be an All-in-One App
X has been actively looking for new ways to boost its revenue after Elon Musk's acquisition. In 2022, most of the advertising sales on Twitter have declined by more than half. To recuperate from the loss, the company has been teasing the users about the additional features that will launch in the future.
Recently, X rebranded the former Premium subscription and has been offering early release of features before rolling out to basic X users. In addition, there are other types of features that are exclusively available to those who are willing to pay the price of $8 per month or $84 per year.
Yaccarino is already on her way to lay down X's financial plan. For now, the CEO proudly announced last week that the majority of X's top advertisers have returned and the company is looking forward to being profitable again by next year.
